Today marks one month from wedding date! (4 weeks from saturday but i’m going with the one month thing today!) and what does fiance choose to have us do today? Nothing fun like ordering groomsmen gifts or finalizing hotel packets….nope…today he decides we’re going to completely clean out my room. Let me preface this with saying that the last time I did a major purge was…..probably never but mayyyybe leaving for college. So yeah, I was overdue. And apparently all the fun collegey type things that you collect, like homemade hatboxes, pictures and letters and notes that people stick under your door (yes I saved all of those), cheesy frames, and clothes that haven’t been touched in 4 years and don’t fit anymore have to be thrown away. Who knew?! We did a massive but fast clean out, and now instead of being covered in cute things, my floor and shelves are covered with dust and with the remnants of things that will remind my of being young and fun, before I become married and boring. Because that’s what happens when you throw away all of your cute things, right? Happy one month countdown.
