Arts and Craps
It’s snowy. And icy. And the snow is piled up and turning black. Last week’s sledding has turned into this week’s large annoyances. Oh and after I posted that last picture about our sledding fun, R and I BOTH fell on the ice leaving for work. He ripped his pants, and I called him sobbing “I fellll and the carrr is ssstttuucckkk in the parrrrkinggg spottttt”. He was on the bus and could do nothing about it. This is my classic crying call, ps. Always to someone who I desperately need but who I know going into it can do absolutely nothing about it at the time being. I told him he needed to just get used to it. And he’s so fab, he totally will.
Anyways, so now the leftovers of last week’s fun are being a nuisance and keeping the kids and I inside. So today we trekked to Michael’s the get some Valentine’s craft supplies. While we were there I kept hearing P (3yr old girl) talk about doing “arts and craps”. I had her repeat it several times and yep, that’s what she was saying. Almost as good as another of my favorite little girls saying “firetruck”. I can’t type here what she actually said. I pushed a stroller and held on to two preschoolers across an icy parking lot, strapped them into my muchtoosmallfor3kids backseat, and went home to make some arts and craps. But little kids making sweet valentines results in something much better than crap.
It’s supposed to ice again overnight tonight. Crap.
