And THIS is Saturday!!! We trekked across town and through awful construction, including not 1 but 2 turnarounds on interstates, to the DMV* (for the 4th time). Success. For the first time ever, I’m a resident of somewhere other than Florida, even though I haven’t lived there in almost 10 years. I will be able to tell my grandchildren, “yep I lived in Alabama for 8 years and never got a driver’s license.” Impressive, I know. Try to hold back your awe. But the POINT of this picture is that after the DMV, we trekked to our local not conveniently located at all Zoe’s. I used to eat Zoe’s 4 or 5 times a week, literally. I haven’t had it since December. It. Was. GLORIOUS. I spent way too much money on a tub of chicken salad to bring home. R downed half a bottle of Zoe’s dressing on his salad. And as a bonus, Hilary Duff came on the radio while we were there. *Be waiting for a post with pics of our licenses. We haven’t seen them, they are coming in the mail. Here’s a preview…I have pinkeye and R will definitely look like a convict.
